Floyd Running is presently Vice President of Sales. Pioneering in auto propane conversions back in 1983, Floyd has more than 30 years invested as a stakeholder in Canada’s propane industry – and still going strong. Much of his career has been in management with a Canadian equipment supplier where he has been a vocal advocate for propane. Floyd is well known as technical resource for residential, commercial and industrial propane equipment and an established trainer in the propane industry. His extensive technical expertise has been put to good use while actively participating on numerous advisory committees both at the federal and provincial levels working with organizations such as: Environment Canada, Transport Canada, Measurement Canada, Canadian Standards Association, the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and the Ontario Technical Safety and Standards Authority. Floyd’s career has included the position of President of the Ontario Propane Association where he worked diligently to represent the interests of propane retailers, transporters, producers, wholesalers and suppliers to the industry of Ontario. He was instrumental in the drafting of the first guidelines for the installation of underground propane tanks.
